There's nothing Michelle loves more than a good souvenir. An avid
traveler, she loves being able to buy something unique from
each place she visits. When she started having a difficult time finding unusual
moderately priced mementos, she started creating her own. This is how
her love of collecting dirt started. Michelle has been known to
pick-up random nature wherever she goes. She collects dirt, water, rocks,
flowers, leaves, anything she can get her hands on and that does not constitute
stealing! She started bottling the dirt from each cemetery or special place she
visited into an antique jar. Her friends loved her jar collection so much
they started asking her to make some for them! Michelle has been all over
the world, carrying a large spoon, ziploc bags, Sharpie's, and a
plentiful supply of hand santitizer, always prepared to
collect random "nature droppings".
In addition to acquiring jars of dirt, Michelle is very fond of collecting
Victoriana, funerary, bottled specimens, natural history, old medical &
dental objects, art, vintage photo's, and anything else curious and creepy.
She loves film (esp. horror movies), cake, traveling, MST3K,
chocolate milkshakes, anything with peanut butter in it, overcast
skies, flea markets, the color black, the Victorian era,
Europe, and command Z. |
